In 1952 Ronald J. Clyde established ACE MOTOR SALES in Kingston Ontario
The Original dealership was located at 639 Princess Street.
This thriving business was relocated to a larger site at 600 Princess Street in 1974. Ron proudly welcomed his son Stephen J. Clyde to the business in 1983 as Vice-President.
As the business prospered and grew, a new facility was built in 1988 at the existing location. In 1995 Stephen became President of Ace Auto Leasing Limited, the parent company of Ace Auto Sales.ca.
Due to the expansion of this exceptional business, another location was purchased in 2003 in Kingston's west end to better serve Kingston's growing population.
This large and newly renovated dealership facility, located at 2392 Princess Street became the headquarters for Ace Auto Leasing Limited.
All of Ace's employees have helped build and maintain an exceptional reputation in the Limestone City.
It is the intention of the Clyde Family to maintain these fine relationships within the community and to continue operations for many years to come.
